How to serve V&Me

A guide to using our meals for the first time with your little one

Top plating tip:

For bite-sized & toddler meals

Starting with a small serving of each food item can be a great way to introduce them to our meals!

Our toddler meals are portioned for the average 4 year old, so if your baby is younger than this it's totally normal for them to not finish the whole plate!

We encourage you to keep the untouched leftovers in the fridge or you can eat alongside them for some role-modelling.

Try to:

Make sure they're comfy & hungry

Ensure they're sitting comfortably (no dangling feet), and are not too tired or full of milk.

Create a relaxed environment

Zero pressure is the best for your little one to explore new food and tastes. Mess is good, too!

Eat with them

Role modelling is the best way for them to learn; try and eat with your little one if you can.

Try not to:

Worry if they don't finish everything on their plate

Appetites fluctuate, and our portion sizes are on the bigger side to account for potential mess.

Give up if they don't like something first time around

It can take several attempts for them to get used to these new tastes and flavours, but trust us, it's worth it!

Put all of the meals in front of them at once

We don't want to overwhelm them to start with!
