Why we make life difficult for ourselves
To everyone that’s new to us – Welcome! We are excited to have more people join our mission to bring up a new generation with healthy eating habits and to give them the best start to life!
You will have noticed that we are very different to what you may have expected or anything you may have seen on the market:
✅ We are the only company that serves you paediatric-approved meal plans, 3 meals a day.
✅ We are the only company that delivers everything fresh out of the kitchen, every morning.
There are many easier ways of doing things – so why do we make life difficult for ourselves?
Diversity is the name of the game when it comes to weaning nutrition and preventing fussy eating.
Our paediatric-approved meal plans include a mixture of “plate cleaners” and “taste adventures”. We tried 250+ recipes with 50+ tasters prior to launch, to make sure we get the balance right. We know that especially with the “taste adventures”, it may take some children up to 20 tries before they accept the new taste, but it’s also SO delightful when they surprise you with their willingness to try new things!
We also try to include dishes / cuisines you may not cook at home – again, for that diversity. Our dishes have been described by our customers as “things I don’t have the imagination to cook, not to mention the time!”
We cook everything from scratch and deliver straight from the kitchen to your door, every morning, during your chosen hour. So you can enjoy it straight out of the box or take it out to the park – or put it in the fridge and enjoy within 3 days. We are now also delivering to work places so you can take dinner home on your way back!
We never use anything frozen because for us nothing tastes better than fresh – and that’s the taste we want your babies to be used to. That’s also why we have the best chefs in London cooking for you, because nothing less will do.
Why are we making life hard for ourselves?
It would have been so much easier to have a more limited selection of dishes that we know are popular, serve them frozen. We could have done that from home.
But instead we chose to make sure there are new tastes every day and week, served fresh, cooked by professional chefs in professional kitchens. We do that because we believe that’s the best possible way to feed your children and that’s what our standard should be.
